Hagal = the whispering universe
The Hagal Rune is the rune of the three dimensions. The fourth dimension is the middle. The Hagal Rune forms the hexagon that contains all the Runes of the Futhorks.

The Hagal Rune is the mother of all runes. This rune is not, as is often assumed wrongly, mainly a doom rune, but rather the opposite! For whoever feels God as I in himself, and in himself as the all-inclusive and encloses, no harm whatsoever can happen to him, since he no longer feels himself as being with his physical body and thus is a truly wise man. On the other hand, this rune, which is composed of the man-rune and the woman-rune, is the perfect symbol of that angrogyness (man-womanhood), which not only dominates the universe, but makes it perceptible. The rune, which carries all other runes in it, two syllables and yet one! From the Hagal runes all other runes can be formed. The sense of inwardness, the consciousness of embracing one's God with all its qualities, produced that high self-confidence in the power of one's own mind, which confers miraculous power, which miraculous power is inherent in all men, which strong minds no doubt believe in it. Carried by this undoubted consciousness, the choice man dominates the physical and the spiritual, which he holds all-encompassing, and thereby feels almighty "Surround the universe in you, and you dominate the universe!"
