ANKH | 44 x 22 mm | Chain eye 6 mm | double-sided design | 14 carat Gold plating (Electro-plating)

Symbols of salvation and protection as amulets are becoming increasingly popular, turning away the ultimate evil from their bearer and rejecting it in its due limits. In recent weeks we have created a completely new, comfortable wearable ANKH, round, feminine, beautiful to look and comfortable to wear and despite its medium size no less powerful in its effect.

Definition: The Egyptian hieroglyphe "Ankh" is part of the oldest known worldwide writing system and means "LIFE" (in this world and beyond) or "LIFE POWER", another meaning would be: "MIRROR" with respect to mirrors of consciousness.

Hieroglyphics were found mainly in and within temples or tombs of pharaohs and are put simply, symbols, a pictorial script, wherethe the word stem "hieroglyphe" comes from the Greek and has the approximate meaning "holy and magical symbol".

Just a few of the common people in ancient Egypt could read and write, so they believed in the divine origin of these symbols, in a gift from the gods. Pharaohs and kings (Frya tribes emigrated from the North Sea!) were seen by the people at that time as the father and mother of all human beings and at the same time as sorcerers and priests. They had been given the power by the gods to provide rich harvests.

The Ankh was often used in representations in which the pharaohs were presented by the gods (the king was symbolically awarded the "female part of creation" here) and then passed on this "breath of life" to the people.
In other illustrations, the ruler is touched by the gods with the Ankh on his mouth (between upper lip and nose) and is thus granted immortality according to ancient tradition.
When burial rituals are depicted, the Ankh apparently symbolizes the key to the realm of the dead, to the afterlife.

Other meanings attributed to hieroglyphs include:

  • Symbol of Eternal Life (Soul?) / Victory over "Physical" Death
  • Rebirth / Symbol of Becoming and Passing
  • Connection of the Human with the Divine
  • Keys to Wisdom and Knowledge of the Mysteries of Life
  • Combination of heaven and earth / male and female
  • Reconciliation of opposites / Unity of extremes (keyword duality)
  • Key to the maturity of the spirit and soul
